For TMD, techniques like myofascial release and intraoral massage (if certified) help relieve jaw pain and improve function. Prenatal massage reduces lower back pain, swelling, and sciatic discomfort while promoting relaxation. Headache and migraine relief focuses on releasing tension in the neck, shoulders, and scalp. Whiplash treatment restores mobility and alleviates stiffness, while carpal tunnel and sciatica treatments target nerve compression and muscle tightness for pain relief and improved function. By addressing the root cause of discomfort, RMTs help clients reduce pain, restore movement, and enhance overall well-being.

A bodyworker is a massage therapy student in training to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and has not yet taken the licensing exam. Through their education, they develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide safe and effective treatments. They receive comprehensive training in anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques while gaining hands-on experience in a supervised clinical setting. While they are not yet licensed, they are qualified to offer relaxation sessions and address specific concerns within their scope of training. This is a great option for those looking for therapeutic care at a reduced rate while supporting a student’s learning journey.
